turning points are major events in history that have led to lasting change in societies. the industrial revolution is one of them.
The Industrial Revolution was a period from the 18th to the 19th century where the invention of machines led major changes in agriculture, manufacturing, mining, and transport had a profound effect on the socioeconomic and cultural conditions starting in the United Kingdom, then subsequently spreading throughout Europe, North America, and eventually the world. The onset of the Industrial Revolution marked a major turning point in human history; almost every aspect of daily life was eventually influenced in some way.
In terms of social structure, the Industrial Revolution witnessed the triumph of a middle class of industrialists and businessmen over a landed class of nobility and gentry.Ordinary working people found increased opportunities for employment in the new mills and factories, but these were often under strict working conditions with long hours of labour dominated by a pace set by machines. However, harsh working conditions were prevalent long before the Industrial Revolution took place. Pre-industrial society was very static and often cruel—child labour, dirty living conditions, and long working hours were just as prevalent before the Industrial Revolution.
in addition, the industrial revolution have had change the way of how the people work and live.

When we look at the world around us, we see change almost everywhere. In some places change seems to be slow, while in other parts of the world there are significant events that become turning points in the history of a country or even entire continent. We see such events every year in different parts of the world, but there is no obvious regular pattern as to when these events happen. An example is: to World War II brought many changes, especially a bipolar world order and a period of the Cold War. Global balance between the two superpowers was maintained, while wars and conflicts continued designed to disrupt world peace.
but as this has many changes in history, some may be very good or very bad in human life

I think its very important! The industrial revolution changed everything about how people worked and lived. Families, prior to the industrial revolution would work together to make almost everything. Clothing, tools and surplus items to sell at markets or trade. The industrial revolution saw the rise of the machines (so to speak ) and things like textile mills. This shattered those ancient ways of the family. It also shifted whole populations to cities (London is a good example) from agricultural fields. City populations in the 18th and 19th centuries grew exponentially and at an alarming rate. The Industrial Revolution also ushered in things like the steam engine and the rail car. It brought about the rise of harsh child labor (and towards the end of it, child labor began to be slowly outlawed). This is very important, because now everyone in the family worked for wages, no matter what age, and the head of the family generally shifted from the male, to be balanced.
